Hannes, I think I described the problems with the hop-by-hop approach  
at the beginning of this thread.  And this is not a new conversation  
for many of us.  I understand that you don't see this project as a  
priority, and we've heard your thoughts, and now I hope you'll allow  
those of us who do to move ahead in this conversation.
